Questions
Before you call.
Short answers about a small-business website. If yours is different, say so on the phone.
Where is TCweb based?
Salmon, Idaho 83467. Tom Carder designs the sites from Salmon. No visit is required.
Do you only build websites for Salmon?
No. The studio is in Salmon, and the websites are for small businesses anywhere in the United States.
What does a new small-business website include?
A home page that says what you do, where you are, and how to reach you. Extra pages, such as a menu, a gallery, a service area, or a simple shop, are added only when the business uses them. The page list is written down before work starts. The kinds of work are on the services page.
Can you redesign a website I already have?
Yes. The domain stays the same. The pages are replaced with a clearer set that matches the business you run now.
When do I see the price?
Before any work starts. The price follows the pages, and you get that number in writing. You also see the site before it is public.
Does the website stay on my domain?
Yes. The finished site goes on your domain. TCweb is websites only and does not keep the public site on tcweb.net.
Can you check whether a domain name is open?
The home page can ask Cloudflare whether a .com or .net name is open and what it costs to register. Nothing is purchased there. A taken name’s owner is not shown.
Can the website be updated after it is live?
Yes. Hours, photos, a new service, and wording can change. You call the same person who built it.
What are the hours?
Monday–Friday, 8am–7pm Mountain time. Saturday is off. Sunday is by appointment.
Which websites are already live?
Richie Outfitters, an Idaho hunting site, and TLC PC Repairs, a computer repair shop in Salmon. Both are real businesses. More is on the work page.
